Fiordland is located on the South West Coast of New Zealand 's South Island. It is the largest National Park in New Zealand and one of the wettest places in the world. The Fiordland's coastlines and branching lakes were carved out by glaciers millions of years ago. It is designated as a World Heritage Area.
